In reference to Izzy's 'Weeknights' post...

I totally felt you girlfriend. I remembered hamzah's ns days. The time when he was away from me (thou he wasn't miles away), i just felt like giving up. No phone calls, no instant messages from him for the first three months. How's that? Couldn't you just say nasty? But of all, that was when friends&cousins came in handy. I became more closer to some people. And that was when i learnt to be more fun&noisy instead of just being melodramatic. And i learnt the meaning of perseverence&patience. Well, what are we to do...

Our boyfriends had to serve the nation. They've got to do what they've got to do. Well it's just their norm for goodness sake. In midst of all that, i love the fact that hamzah's a changed person after those crucial times. I've got to agree that national service really do changed a person's character&personality. Then again, not all individual i guess. But it certainly did to my man. And i'm getting the hang of it.

Well to all girlfriends whose boyfriends are miles away from you, i wish ya'll the very best in salvaging your relationship. All you've got to do is just to put your egoness aside. And it applies to both parties. Not just one. Perseverence and patience. Remember that.
