My People
Yesterday....
Visited uncle at SGH together with boyfriend and mom came thenafter. Cam-whored with my sisterly cousins, KakTuty & KakHusna. Missed them dearly la. We'll have our karaoke session soon okay. When everything's back to normal.
Wishing a speedy recovery to uncle who had undergone a bypass. May you'll be as healthy as a horse. Insya'Allah.
And today...
Had a simple date with boyfriend. Hangout at our usual place somewhere at the East and boyfriend brought me to this makan place where i've never been to. It's located at the UpperPierce called Casuarina Curry Restaurant. What does it sound like? We definitely had Indian cuisine of course. And their prata comes in handy. Teh tarik is a must toooo.
Well, the weather turned me off. There's nowhere else to go or to do so we headed to my crib. It's the only place which is sanely dry! So we rode IN THE RAIN! Damn it! Back at home, me, boyfriend & Syasya cam-whored. And thanks little sister for taking our photo.
Ouh btw, Syasya's having chicken pox = 10days of MC! whooohooo.
hooray hooray lah dier kat rumah! And that's the chicken pox treatment.
MAKAN SUAP! She's loving it when he fed her.
In all, i love my family.

The Professionals
3 days of night shift was finally over and what a relief. Will be another long period of time for the next round.
Just some re-capping...

1st night with MaryJane (ssn) & KakNor (pca) was havoc! Well it was initially alright until bed management unit (BMU) called for an URGENT A1 bed for a very URGENT onco patient and VERY ILL too. I was very hesitant to accept as according to them the patient is dying. Not satisfied, i instructed BMU to ask A&E to call me for further clarification. Yes! True enough the patient is very very ill and for early ward assessment. DIL active siak! Lucky for me, my HO-on-call was all along in the ward till the patient came. Dah macam tunggu VIP lah actually.
Patient came at 0100hrs. On arrival, her pulse was undetectable and was gasping for air real badly under the 100% non-rebreather mask. At about 0130, her effort to breathe reduced. Therefore, i fixate the AED machine to the patient and the line was almost to asystole. Quickly i ran for my doctor and we rushed in. MO came thenafter. Started CPR & bagging and Reg1 came a while later. The whole show ended an hour later. Resusitation terminated at 0225hrs and was pronounced dead by the reg. I swear my wrist was collapsing! HAHA. Luckily i've already written all my 24 reports. Thanks to my juniors for the last office and my heartfelt condolences to the relatives.

Managed to come to work on time. I realised that we have not taken any pictures yet with the new uniform and so we cam-whored with my forever faithful OlympusDigital.
And them were the pm staffs.

The night was peaceful. Thou i have 4 admissions, all were stable. Thank God!

My last night was still with KY and KakNor (her last night too). I as junior with kakak! And the night was super slack la. Kakak bought meehoon mamak like ALOT. Me & KY ordered McDonalds and we ate the night away. Boyfie called from KL and i was like overjoyed to hear him. I missed you terribly la. hugs&kisses from him.
Now this is the way to end the night!
And today, a friend of mine invited me to CHIJMES to watch ManUtd Vs Liverpool tonight!!!! but, boyfie's coming back tonight!!!!! ouhhh i cant wait.

Bon Voyage
Boyfie decided to leave for KL. TODAY. Yes, t-o-d-a-y. Boohoo. Someone's got a big tournament there and all sponsored by Nike. Ouh wells, not that i can save the King from leaving. No, I'm not his wife so...be it. You better buy me tones of stuffs there okays! I dont care. HAHA.
I'm gonna miss you while you're away.
And while he's away, tonight's my first night working my ass off. Macam tau je you i keje malam! Shish! Currently having mental block and a little of my blonde moments. So rest assured, i'll blog some other days yea.
Off to my laalaa land now! Zzzzzzzz.

August Rush
Although the story line isn't new, the idea of using
MUSIC as plot is the main selling point in this movie. If you are a music lover, you will sure fall in love with this movie. The soundtrack is spectacular. It makes me have goosebumps all over my body, cool!! Overall, this movie is so touching, inspiring, and remarkable.
Catched it with boyfie yesterday. Well basically, we've got free tickets thanks to Cik Yasmin and we collected it from her friend ~ Nurizan (if i'm not mistaken, that's his name). The seats we got was A11&A12. Boyfie fooled me by insisting that it was front row and i confidently believed him. At that point of time, i was confounded. Who would wanna sit right at the front right?! That's major suicide to the neck. HAHA.
Well, the moment of truth was when we entered the theatre. Boyfie went all the way up to OUR SEATS. COUPLE SEATS somemore. Thanks ehhh. Kan tak pasal2 kene pukul. HAHA. Serve you right.
Aniways, back to the movie, it's worth watching ya'll.

On my feets
Work treated me badly today. Was on my feets, running and God knows what i was busy with.
5 out of 8 patients had URGENT CT scans (which needs staff to accompany).
1 of them deteriorates & transfered to MICU for intubation (ouh i witnessed everything alright!). It was super devastating for say. I was speechless right in front of her son.
Bedpans non-stop hits prolly due to the amount of diuretics given. Selamat arrr!
My long-termed patient ended her life today. 1414hrs was her last breath. And am too tired to even shed tears.
This particular linen guy, kept bugging me for my contacts and of course was scrammed by my super gerek colleagues. Padan muka kau setan!
So there you go. Work was work.
Night came and MrBoyfriend aka MrMuscleMan (he wanted me to type this so i had no choice lah ehhh) accompanied me at home. He's forever addicted to my PSP and i'm beside him writing this entry. Duuuhh.
To you MrBoyfriend, since you wanted my opinion kan....... I DONT WANT YOU TO GO KL caaaaaan? HAHA. Go for your medical instead. Just get it done and over with. Period! We'll go KL together okays. Someday.

believe it or not
Overdosing yourself with paracetamol? What in the world were you thinking? Just because you're in the rocks with him, that doesnt mean you should stuff yourself with that antipyretics. Thou paracetamol isn't of any harm but it is indeed harmful to the internal organs mainly the liver&kidneys especially when it's overdosage. And whatnots, you took 36tablets which is equivalent to 18grams!!!! Liver damage is possible in adults who have taken 10grams (20tabs) or more of paracetamol.
Well, you are asymptomatic for the first 24hours. Your mom told me you have abdominal cramps and vomiting. Those were the symptoms by the way. She gave you water but i told her to stop as it will fasten the absorption. Just allow you to keep vomiting.
The scariest part is after 24hours where hepatic necrosis (jaundice) begins to develope and can progress to acute liver failure. May also develope encephalopathy (brain disease), oliguria (abnormal urine), hypoglycaemia (low blood sugar) and renal failure which usually occurs around day 3.
Why create problems my dear? I know you can't help it and you weren't in the right state of mind. I understand that. I'm gonna bet you're regretting now. Seriously.
Whatever it is, nasi dah jadi bubur. It already have happened and you can't turn back the time. I'll pray for your wellness okay dear! Insya'allah.

Her bday was celebrated at ECP. Booked pit 57 and there we go smokin' and barbeque-ing. Umi sure did invite lotsa people which means lotsa pressies. Besides her clan, her TTSH colleagues was invited too. It was somehow a family day as well. Tent pitching, cam-whorring, uno, soccer & captain's ball.

Thenafter, meet-up with Terks, boyfie's buddy who's super cool.
Overall, i'm loving it cos it's been quite sometime since i last spent time with my 2nd family. They're love. Really. More of gatherings okays!
