The best day of my life
2 days ago (Saturday 19/04/08) marks a very beautiful day ~ despite the very hectic work in the morning. It's Boyfie's mom's birthday and she know nuts about the birthday bash being thrown over at her crib. Best kan!
Received a phone call from boyfie while i was in the locker room getting ready for the after workmath.
BF:
"You, dah siap blom? I got something to tell you..."Me:
"Yea, siap-ing. What's up?BF:
"My application to the police force been REJECTED."Me:
"Hah?! you kidding me? after all the efforts?"BF:
"Yalah. What to do. People don't want me. Later you see the letter la."Me:
"Haiyo. Klah. See you later."
And so, i hurried down to bf's crib and gathered under the block with the rest of the relatives to carry out our plan. Went up as quietly as possible and we surprised her with a birthday song in front of the gate! Super loud la the cousins sang. HAHA.
Aniways, boyfie handed me the letter. And guess what la....it indicates there that his application was ACCEPTED instead. I was super ecstatic and beat him in front of his folks.
Me:
"You dirty little liar"BF: "HAHA."
Me: "Ouhh shut up."
BF: "HAHA."
See how naughty my boyfriend is. Aniways, we proceed with the makan-ing, cake cutting, present opening and finally the speech. It was super melancholic la towards the end.
The birthday cake from PrimaDeli / The whole family + 'menantus' / The mom & her presents.
The mom: "Mak doakan dapat menantu yg baik....bla bla bla."
Menantu (in-law)? HAHA. Kidding me la. Ouh and Khatijah too had a very great news. Her application to NAFA was accepted too. No wonder she's all smiles the whole day. Congrats you both for the success and all these on your mom's birthday. Isn't that something?
In all, i love that day.
