family love
The day before was well spent with beloved mom, dad and Syasya. Shopping at Geylang (which is totally random) and we bought a brand new leather sofa at Aero Furnishing Center. It was super comfy laaa. Me and the little one just couldn't get our ass off it. And dad's eyeing on the orthopaedic chair which was super exorbitant but worth buying. Mom surprised me saying that she bought a new teevo for our living room. And she's sooo confident that i'm gonna love it. And that'll have to wait till raya. Same goes with the sofa which will only arrive one week before the festive season. I can't wait!
Well...it's a good thing syasya's camera friendly eyyy. Gua ada kaki beb!
While our folks liquidate the payments, this was what we did.
I was super soporific and syasya caught me. Thanks ehh sya!

Birthday celebration was held at The Chevrons. Invitation was given to us by kak lin waaaaay before hand. Like 1 month earlier?
Aniways, me, nani, fari meet up with wan & athiyah at SGH carpark as we're riding there. Nani rides alone as she's not too confident to have any pillion. I was fari's pillion and wan was athiyah's rider. Way to go wan!
Overall, i've had a blast. I mean WE enjoyed ourselves there. The place was magnificient and the food was ouh-so-delicious. Cam-bitching's always a must for us. I repeat, MUST. But then again, the picture wasn't complete with another two of our working 'kakis', zahirah & azira who was missing. The day was filled with fun and laughters. With nani's super high pitched toned, my horrible laughter, athiyah's non-stop purging in the toilet, fari's crappy jokes and wan's fatherly voice which was super hilarious. I just love my munchkins laaaaa.
We went home with all smiles.
It's a pity Mr Bf had to work on this beautiful day.

Girlfriends who have been together with their other half for years have ended their cherry blossom relationships. I just got to know another one ended hers today.

buang 'suay'
So much for wanting to keep this hair of mine long. So much of having waves. In the end i ended up trimming and coloring. And all thanks to Mom who actually brain-washed me into diminishing all the 'suay'. Riiiight!
To this day, TODAY, mom was my wake-up call at 9 freaking AM. Verbalised to me on the phone that she'll reach Marsiling at around 9.45am. Mind you, she was from night shift ehh.
This was how she sounded on the phone..
Mom: 'Nana, wake up. Accompany me cut my hair. Go siap like now. I'll meet you at Marsiling MRT. Hurry. Don't make me wait. We will buang our suay today! I don't care!'
Ok so, at that point of time i was wondering why mom sounded so bitchy and was it mine or her 'suay' actually. I couldn't help but laugh.
That's my mom.
And yes, that's the new color. Was opting for blonde but having blonde moments like most of the time is already enough for me. Not wanting to be a blonde bimbo in the ward i supposed.
Having headache now, due to the chemicals on my head i guess.
Painkillers would be best for me now.

Hungry Ghosts
Here i am once again blogging and am actually multi-tasking with this dainty fingers typing and very poignant ears listening to mom's story and complaints of her ward. Pretty interesting i must say. Well who else would hear her out if not for her very own same-workplace-daughter kann. Aniways, as a matter of fact, i just woke up from my beauty sleep actually. Yes that's right. Post night la. Wonder if i could sleep again tonight eyy.
My nights was fly. Yes that's how i spent my national day if you wanna know. In the freaking ward together with Zahirah&KakNor while others boogey the night away. Hmph!
On the happier note, it was uber fun working during this ghost month. Lesser patients! Prolly because they were terrified to have a hungry ghost taking care of them and thats me. And yes, MrBoyfriend came and brought murtabak where else Zah's hubby brought us muttonchop. Thanks MrShaik. Ape lagi, me & kaknor bedal ahhh. Hungry ghost betol ehhh. And mind you it was 2am in the morning. Wicked or what!
My last night with Ling&Sharon, lagi best. Admit none. The counter phone DID NOT RING AT ALL! After supper, Sharon&I had movie mania in one of the empty room, without popcorns but pringles instead. One word - GEREK! But then again, you can feel the time pass slowly thou.
Right now, i'm waiting for my CanadianPizza to arrive. Jemput!

The future is OURS
Woke up early today despite having my day off. Here i am infront of the computer looking silly. Just completed my task to make over athiyah's bloggy which is kinda simple but i still love it. There you go girl!
In the mist of editting, boyfriend sms-ed me.
Bf: I dengar2 parliment is discussing whether to give husband 3months maternity leave after their wife give birth.
Me: HAHAHAHAHAHHAHA. Good lah. I sokong!
Bf: Pending laaa.
Funny or what?! Ironically, we were talking about our future the day before. Marriage, life after marriage, transportation, housing and babies. And the best part, we were deciding what to call each other after marriage. Wah. I definitely need a new organizer! Totally.
We've got a mission kan sayang. Insya'allah it'll happen.
It was all about O&G yesterday. The reason being, my colleague Anuradha has given birth to a baby boy!!! Baby Ritesh Mohan was delivered 6th August 2008 at KKH at 1210hrs. He's full termed only late by a day. Visited Anu accompanied by boyfriend yesterday. I was super ecstatic upon seeing her. The atmosphere was soo warm and nice. You can hear new born babies crying from the next bed. Sadly, Anu's little pride was in the ICA due to some cardiac issues. So me&bf didn't get the chance to see. Prolly soon yea Anu. I can't wait. I can't wait!
I'm fasting today so shall just rest and watch tv all day long till bf finished his inservice and we'll break-fast over at my crib. =)

OUR day
1st of August, Singhealth marks 120 years of nursing in Singapore with a new milestone.
Was morning shift and yet we still spent time to drop by the party. Thanks to Sister Rose for bugging us to get our asses there.
Highlights of the party included food stalls manned by SingHealth’s senior management, song performances by SingHealth’s doctors and nurses and a dance competition. Joining in the celebrations also were 40 elderly residents who live in one-room flats in the Buona Vista Constituency, who are being adopted by the Outram Campus Nurse Volunteers. Food hampers were distributed to the elderly residents and they were treated to a Chinese Opera performance. Coool kannn.
Aniways, we spent like almost an hour under the scorching sun cam-whorring and then back to work. We received loads of balloons, chocolates, cookies, brownies, cakes and pastries from doctors as well as patients and their relatives. Thank you.
I'm proud of myself being a nurse whereby nursing is a source of light to someone's darkness. And i'm waiting to this day that Singapore will say thank you to us. It's OUR day ya'll.
After the celebration, we then celebrated at Athiyah's room. Her operation was successful and thanks to God. She was super relieved that everything was finally over. How lucky she is for having the whole team behind her (and Razi infront). HAHAHAH. Jangan marah haaaaaa.
When we have our own privacy.....ouh and
